Surfaces covered with hyaline cartilage

Joint capsule surrounds talonavicular and anterior calcaneal articulations
Spring ligament supports joint inferiorly

Dorsal talonavicular ligament

Nerve Supply
Tibial nerve → medial plantar branch
Deep peroneal nerve → dorsal aspect
Blood Supply
Dorsalis pedis artery

Inversion and eversion
Supports medial longitudinal arch during walking
