  • Appetite: Lost completely due to pain on swallowing.
  • Desires: Warm drinks (+++), Ice cream occasionally (but aggravates now)
  • Aversions: Cold food/drinks during acute phase
  • Thirst: Thirsty for warm water in small sips
  • Elimination:
    • Urine: Normal
    • Stool: Constipated last 2 days
    • Perspiration: Slight, offensive
  • Sleep: Disturbed due to pain and fever
  • Thermal State: Chilly (shivering with fever, wants to be covered)

B. Reactions - Physical Factors

  • Weather: Aggravation after exposure to cold wind
  • Position: Better sitting up slightly; worse lying down
